Reading for pleasure unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are! Our annual Book fair raises much needed funds for library resources, and we are aiming to have our best year yet! Please support our school’s Book Fair to allow your children to choose their own books to read .... It could be the start of a lifetime of love for books!
The theme of our Book Fair is TO THE BOOK FAIR & BEYOND where Reading is out of this World It’s a fun reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of affordable books for every reading level.

BOOK FAIR DATES:
Students will visit the book fair in the library with their class from Wednesday August 19th till Friday August 21st to check out what’s on offer and fill out their wish lists. They will bring their lists home to share with you.
SHOPPING HOURS:
Monday 24th August – Thursday 27th August we will be open for sales.
- Before school 8.15 - 9.00 am
- Second break 1.40 – 2.20pm
- After school till 3.00 - 3.30pm
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
Grab a colouring in page when you visit for a chance to win a prize pack
VOLUNTEERS:
We would love to have volunteers join us on our Space Quest. If you have done your training & can help out with any of the above dates, please email rwels33@eq.edu.au with your availability.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT BOOK PARADE …
This is a countrywide event held in national book week, students come to school dressed as their favourite book character and we hold a special parade in the hall from 9-.15am on Tuesday 25th August
